1) Passport, identity card for European citizens.2) Residence permits are not accepted as identity documents taht they must always be accompanied by a passport or ID card. 3) Tourist visa in possession, can be delivered too upon arrival together with an entry stamp to the country. 4) Legal address of residence in the country of origin. 5) Tax Italian Code ( codice fiscale) not just the number, but the real document or card. 5) The Italian tax code: you can request it after arriving at the Revenue Agency and is mandatory for registering the contract. If after 30 days of arrival you do not have the Italian tax code, there will be a government fine of 50 euros for each subsequent week of delay.
